There are a few campground rules we ask our guests to read through and adhere to in order to ensure peace and harmony for all campers during their stay with us. If any questions at all, just ask. We are here to serve you and make your visit a happy, safe experience.

Long-Term Stay

Long-Term Guest Rules 

  • Only furniture that is intended for outside use is allowed on your camp site.

  •  No structure or deck may be erected without prior approval. 

  •  Pets are welcome, but must be kept on leashes at all times. All animal waste must be picked up and disposed of properly.

  • Pets cannot be housed outside of your camper permanently*   

  •  Bags of trash must be taken to our dumpster, and not put in the cans at the sites. ALL boxes must be broken down before going in the dumpster.

  •  Management must be notified of any and all ATVs and golf carts on the premises.

  •  NO vehicle can be parked in an empty site.

  • Quiet hours are 10pm-7am Monday – Thursday & 11pm-8am Friday – Sunday.

  •  The speed limit throughout the campground is 5mph. Always watch for children. 

  • Your payment is past due if not paid by the 1st of each month, you will be charged a late fee on the 2nd.

  •  No pro-rated refund for early check out.

  •  Vehicle tags must be displayed at all times. Visitors must check in at the Coffee House. Extra tags can be given out for frequent visitors.

  • No outside firewood may be brought on the property.

  •  No swimming in the river. No lifeguard is ever on duty.

  •  You’re welcome to fish off the bank with a Missouri fishing license.

  • We are not responsible for accidents, injury, theft, or loss that 

       takes place on the property regarding you or your guests*

We pride ourselves on having a well-kept park. We appreciate you helping us maintain the cleanliness and well-being of the property. Thank you for being our guest!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

If a cancellation is made greater than 7 days before the reservation, a full refund will be issued.

If a cancellation is made less than 7 days before the reservation, but greater than four days,

50% of the total will be withheld.

Cancellations made less than four days before the reservations will not receive a refund.

*MERCHANT FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE*

Age Requirements

No one under the age of 9 can be in a single kayak alone. 

​

Must be at least 7 years old to be in a tandem, and MUST be accompanied by an adult. 

​

If Someone wants to bring a child under the age of 7 the only option is to have them sitting on the lap of a parent or guardian.

​

We do not provide life jackets for children under 90lbs. You must bring your own. 

Rules

Life jackets are provided with rentals and MUST be worn at all times. 

​

Transportation-only kayakers MUST bring their own life jackets and paddles. 

​

NO glass bottles allowed on the river. 

​

Kayakers can get off on gravel bars but can NOT venture further on the land, as all land between the drop-off points and The Meadow Campground are

private property.

Fire

Fire
Please be fire conscious when visiting The Meadow Campground & Coffee House. NO fire may be started in any place except designated firepits or inside BBQ grills. Please make sure all fires stay within designated areas and are completely extinguished before left unattended.
Outside firewood is prohibited on the property. Transporting firewood throughout the state puts our trees at risk for invasive pest infestations. Locally sourced firewood is available inside The Coffee House for $5.99 a bundle. Help protect our trees.

NO lit candles or other open fire is permitted inside the cabins or inside tents.

Parking

PARKING

NO PARKING on the grass. Designated parking areas are located in the campground and around the Coffee House.
 

All vehicles must have vehicle tags to enter the campground, guests included. Please check-in at the Coffee House or call after hours. 

​

Parking is limited to two guest vehicles at small Cottages and Tent Sites, three at larger Family Loft Cabins, unless special permission is granted. 

​

Kayak Excursion guests will provide vehicle description upon registration. 

​

When you check-in, you will receive a map of our campground. Please refer to our  map to locate designated parking areas within our campground. If you are unsure, please inquire with the Meadow receptionist inside the Coffee House.

Pets

Pets
The Meadow Campground & Coffee House welcomes pets, with exceptions. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and cleaned up after. Waste disposal stations are throughout the campground. Please dispose of properly. 

Pets, with prior camp administration approval, are allowed at tent camping sites. 

Pets are allowed in select cabins. Arrangements can be made for pets, with a $15/night additional fee. Please call before finalizing your reservation if you have questions. 

Remember, be careful; bringing pets is to do so at your own risk as you will be responsible not only for your safety but also the safety of your pet. This is a native environment with natural hazards. Animals, snakes, native vines and other plants can be hazardous to humans and pets. Please avoid dangers.

Smoking

SMOKING
Absolutely NO SMOKING in the cabins. There will be a $75 minimum cleaning ADD ON FEE if smoking evidence is found inside cabins. 

Absolutely NO CIGARETTE butts thrown on the ground. Please extinguish cigarettes in sand buckets or firepits.
