All events are open to the public. You do not need to be a guest of The Meadow Campground to attend! The Meadow hosts a number of events, including our annual Run on The River (last Saturday in July), Outdoor Movie nights, Live Music, and much more!

Kayaking For A Cause

Get ready for an unforgettable day of adventure and community spirit at the "Kayaking for a Cause" event on June 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at The Meadow Campground & Coffee House in New London, MO!

Participants will embark on a scenic float down the beautiful Salt River. Whether you bring your own kayak or rent one, pre-registration is essential—secure your spot by June 13, 2026.

As you float, you’ll not only enjoy nature but also contribute to a worthy cause, as all proceeds will go towards improving the lives of local kids in care.

Check-in will kick off at the coffee house booth at 10 AM and run until all pre-registered guests are picked up or 3pm, whichever is later. Life vests are mandatory. No glass bottles. Please label your kayak and paddle for security. You must have an armband to float. Arm bands cover: transportation, float, and band cover charge.

For just $5 more, you can pitch a tent and make a day of it! If you are interested in lodging or to rent a kayak, call 844-424-2267.

After your float, unwind with the electrifying sounds of the band NOWAKE from 4-8 PM. Don't forget to save room for some delicious eats from One in a Slice, for a minimal cost.

Make-up date is set for the following weekend, June 27th, 2026.

Kayaking For A Cause

Come spend a day on The Salt River Saturday, July 25th for our seventh annual Run On The River! Bring your kayak, canoe, or tube. Don’t have one? Give us a call at 844-424-2267 to rent a kayak for the day! Registration is from 9am-12pm. Entry fee is $25 (CASH ONLY) which includes transportation to the drop off location upstream, an after-water BBQ from 4pm-7pm, corn hole, and sand volleyball. To book a cabin, tent site, or an RV spot, visit the "Camp" tab on our website or call 844-424-CAMP (2267). Please make sure your kayak and paddle has a tag or other identifier to ensure it does not get confused with someone else’s. Prizes will be awarded by drawing. Make sure you check the prize board after getting off the water! If you plan on consuming alcohol on the river, and are unable to get home safely, you’re welcome to pitch a tent in the grass for $5. Check in at The Coffee House to pay and sign paperwork.

All proceeds go to benefit The Cole McDonald Impact Project to fund the “What Do You Do With An Idea?” Grant.
